TWO EXHIBITIONS FOR THE PRICE OF TWO

Thursday, 06 November 2008
There's more culture to be had in South London than you think.
Winter is upon us and there is discomfort in the air. This may be down to two things A. There is something called a credit crunch being banded round the air waves? or B, my new jeans are too tight, which is not a good thing with Christmas on it's way. Well, when things are looking bleak there is only one thing that the SEE Artists think of doing and that's to have not one but two exhibitions in quick succession. The first will be held on Saturday 22nd November 11am til 6 pm & Sunday 23rd November 12 noon til 5pm at the Mark Paul Perry Studios 19 Shrewsbury Road Beckenham BR3. The second is entitled the Greenwich Guerilla Gallery 40a Royal Hill Greenwich SE10 in association with Signstage ltd, Ice Angels and The Cheese Board (Is it possible i hear you saying "what an unlikey trio of sponsors") well to fill you in they are all local bussiness' Ice Angels will be supplying bespoke ice creams on the Private view night along side The Cheese Board who will be offerering some amazing and wonderful flavours to get your juices going, Signstage have kindly offered to supply a couple of sandwich boards to direct you into the gallery from street level. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them in advance. The good and the bad news, bad news first is Cordiniu were unable to commit to this project, the good news is we have 20 bottles of Champagne left over from the Mayfair Exhibition (they're so polite up there) so if your coming to the Private View get there early, softer drinks will also be available. The GGG (for short) will be a fantastic exhibition with lots of new 2D and brand new 3D work on show, canvas' and ltd edition prints available plus we would like to mention there's definatley something for the ladies. Look out for the new kidet on the block Hilarys' exquisit hand painted silk scarves so you can look even cooler than when you came in. For Private View invites and more information please contact info@seeartists.co.uk We look forward to you seeing us dressed as Gorillas.....but thats another story.
