Ben Oakley
Oakley has exhibited in the UK, and Europe and sold along side many of todays’ modern masters. In 2008 he exhibited in over eight group shows as well as taking part in the Cans Festival , Hostel Art, and Urban Art, selling originals including paintings, light installations, and limited edition prints. In 2009 Oakley Exhibited and sold at The Affordable Art Fair, Black Rat Press, Urban Art Fair , SW11 gallery, GV art , 4 x SEE Artists group shows, Brick Lane Gallery, Hip Art Gallery, Rhapsody House, Saatchi Gallery with Maggie & Rose Art for Starlight , Rose Tinted gallery, Liberty Gallery, Rhapsody House, the fanastic GX gallery and SLG .
Using Aerosol, Acrylic, Emulsion and inventive mixed media, Oakley’s work becomes more and more interesting as he layers and combines new techniques with old materials and subject matters delivering them into the 21st Century with Impact and dynamism.
It is an explosion of his experiences and inverted anarchic observations, that are original, exciting, and cleverly executed, and over the last three years he has gained great momentum, producing some of his most visually engaging and thought provoking works to date.
