Antony Francis Jones

Born in the Garden of England in 1970.
Antony Francis Jones studied at the Kent Institution of Art and Design in Maidstone. He was awarded the Adult Learners Award for his achievements in Art and Design in 1993.
In 2000 he displayed his work at the Royal College of Art in London, for the Red Bull Creative Competition. Red Bull later used his installation to promote their product in Bars and Clubs, in the UK and overseas.
Antony has lived and worked in England and Republic of Ireland. He has mainly worked as a Photographic Retoucher for Christies Auctioneers and a Graphic Artist for various companies including Ann Summers.Painting has always been a major preoccupation throughout most of his life, his different styles reflect his varied background and influences.
Antony’s passion for ‘Expressionist’ art and ‘Action Painting’ is clearly evident in his most recent work. He explores the potential of acrylic, oil, household paint, gesso, sand and other objects attached to canvas.
Antony has sold work to many private collectors in the UK and overseas. He is also reguarly commissioned to paint murals and portraits.
In 2007 Antony opened a solo exhibition at 34 St. George Street, Mayfair, London, W1.
